The Garner Avenue House represents the successful relocation of an existing 1940s-era residence and its subsequent remodel and expansion. The project transformed both the home's interior and exterior to suit the needs of a young family, which also required the addition of another 885 sf of interior space.

For the new exterior, the design team took cues from the surrounding neighborhood while the interior scheme reflects the client’s eclectic and contemporary tastes. The project achieved with a 3-star rating from the City of Austin's Green Building program.
